Lachlan Batty
Lachlan Batty is an Australian trained orthopaedic surgeon with international sub-specialist training in knee surgery, joint replacement surgery, shoulder surgery and sports medicine.
He completed his medical degree at Monash University and in addition, has completed two sub-specialist knee surgery fellowships at the Epworth Hospital in Melbourne and the prestigious Fowler-Kennedy Sports Medicine Clinic in Ontario Canada. Additionally, Lachlan has also completed his robotic joint replacement training in San Francisco, USA and an Orthopaedic Trauma Fellowship at Western Health, Melbourne.
Lachlan serves on the Young Professionals Taskforce for the International Society for Arthroscopy, Knee surgery and Orthopaedic (ISAKOS) and the Patient Education Committee for the Australian Orthopaedic Association (AOA). Lachlan has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications, primarily on the surgical management of ACL injuries. He is currently completing a PhD on optimising outcomes after ACL injuries and investigating the long-term impacts on knee osteoarthritis.
