In this Sports MAP Network event, Ben Ashworth leverages his expertise as a shoulder consultant in elite sports, complemented by his postgraduate and PhD studies, to deliver a highly practical one-day course that challenges the way you think about addressing shoulder issues in individuals with elevated shoulder demands.
The course covers all aspects of shoulder rehabilitation including functional anatomy; assessment techniques; strength and conditioning exercises; rehabilitation protocols and return-to-play strategies. Participants will gain a better understanding of how to assess an athlete's risk factors for injury as well as develop individualized treatment plans that optimize performance while minimizing future injury risk.
Upon completion of the course, participants will have had the opportunity to develop skills necessary to help develop comprehensive shoulder injury prevention and management programs for their athletes.
This course is designed for coaches, trainers, physical therapists, and other health professionals who currently support or aspire to work with athletes of all levels of participation.
Ben is only in Australia for these planned events, along with the ‘How I Rehab conference’. He has no immediate plans on the returning so don’t miss out on this one off opportunity to see one of the worlds best shoulder clinicians in action.
