This 1.5 day course focuses its attention on thigh muscle injuries, specifically the anterior and posterior thigh.
The course will review and provide a different lense on the anatomy of the area, relating it back to function and how this applies to clinical assessment. In addition the course will cover the key mechanisms of thigh injuries and how this provides criteria for the rehab process from injury to return to play and how to individualise the rehabilitation criteria.
This course is highly practical and will take individuals through the key assessments for thigh injuries as well as provide a framework to appropriately rehabilitate not only the injured muscle, but also the individual as a whole. Exercise prescription and selection will be discussed in depth, and ample time and opportunity provided for participants to understand how these may be applied to a number of cases as well as practicing for themselves.
Radiology will be touched upon but it will be held in line with the overall rehabilitation process.
Specifically designed to maximise learning without you having to sacrifice your whole weekend, this course provides an excellent chance to network with like minded colleagues.
This will be a fully catered event and contributes 11 CPD points to your yearly CPD requirements

Throughout his career, Nick has been driven by a consistent pursuit of improving his craft in order to provide the highest standard of care for the athletes he works with. Motivated to share this level of learning with the broader physiotherapy community, Nick launched the Sports MAP Masterclass—a platform designed to take clinicians 'into the room' with expert clinicians to practical, clinically relevant education and insights in an engaging and easily digestible video content.
Nick holds a Master’s degree in Sports Physiotherapy from La Trobe University and a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Notre Dame University in Fremantle. His clinical interests focus on hip and groin pain, soft tissue injuries, and tendon-related conditions.
