Previously head of Performance Health at the ACT Brumbies, Byron Field is now the lead physiotherapist for Rugby Australia and the Wallabies. Byron graduated from the University of Canberra in 2004 with a degree in Psychology and Sport & Exercise Science, and has since completed a Masters of Physiotherapy, Masters in Sport & Exercise Physiotherapy and a Masters in Strength & Conditioning. He is currently completing his PhD looking at recognition of concussion in rugby union – specifically the use of instrumented mouthguards to assist with identification of head impact.

Byron Field
Byron graduated from the University of Canberra in 2004 with a degree in Psychology and Sport & Exercise Science, and has since completed a Masters of Physiotherapy, Masters in Sport & Exercise Physiotherapy and a Masters in Strength & Conditioning. Byron is currently the High-Performance Manager for the ACT Brumbies. Prior to joining Up ‘n Running Physio, Byron worked with professional rugby union teams in the UK and Australia.
