Carmel has accumulated considerable experience in the management of hand and upper limb conditions. Carmel has lectured extensively on this topic for the last 15 years, teaching regional and interstate courses. She enjoys sharing her knowledge and experience, and continues to mentor select junior physiotherapy colleagues in Hand Therapy.

Carmel is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association, and an associate member of the Australian Hand Therapy Association. Her greatest professional reward is the satisfaction received from her clients’ positive outcomes to treatment.
