Sue Mayes
Principal physiotherapist & medical team manager at The Australian Ballet and Associate Professor at La Trobe University (PhD)
Sue Mayes is Australian Ballet’s Director of Artistic Health and has been their Principal Physiotherapist since 1997. Sue also consults for national and international professional sports. Sue is also Associate Professor at La Trobe University (PhD) and received their Distinguished Alumni Award in 2018. She has published on ballet-related topics and is currently researching foot joint health, and cognitive fatigue through the partnership between Australian Ballet and La Trobe University. Sue has been invited to speak at international conferences and lectures throughout Australia and Europe. Sue was awarded an Order of Australia in 2020.
Stuart Imer
Foot & Ankle Physiotherapist
Stuart is one of Australia’s foremost physiotherapists in the treatment of Disorders of the Foot and Ankle. Stuart has a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and a Post Graduate Diploma in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, and a long working association with Foot and Ankle orthopaedic surgeons. He has worked in Foot and Ankle surgical clinics for 22 years, alongside some of Australia’s leading orthopaedic surgeons. He has a wealth of experience in post-surgical rehabilitation of foot and ankle disorders and aims to be the recognized leading physiotherapist in Australia, for these treatments. Stuart has an ongoing commitment to developing new treatment philosophies and protocols, and to communicating this body of knowledge to associated professions. Stuart was the Team Physiotherapist to the Australian Cross Country Ski Team for 15 years and has a keen personal interest in all snow sports. These elite endurance athletes have a high tendency for overuse injuries of the lower limb.
Mike Lancaster
Senior Physiotherapist - England Senior Men

Mike Lancaster is an incredibly experienced Sports Physiotherapist and currently the Senior Physiotherapist of England Rugby. Prior to this role, Mike was Head of Medical Services at Harlequins Rugby, Performance Physiotherapist at GWS and Head of Sports Medicine at Worcester Warriors. Additionally, Mike has been part of published work surrounding calf monitoring and testing in rugby athletes.

Eamonn Delahunt
Associate Professor at the University College Dublin School of Public Health, Physiotherapy and Sports Science

Dr Eamonn Delahunt is an Associate Professor at the University College Dublin School of Public Health, Physiotherapy and Sports Science. He has extensive clinical experience having previously worked as a Charted Physiotherapist for a number of years as well as being recognized both nationally and internationally as a leading academic sports physiotherapist with involvement in over 150 peer reviewed publications

David Hillard
APA Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist

David graduated from the University of SA in 1999, and has completed a post graduate Masters In Sports Physiotherapy. He is also an ASCA accrediated Level 1 Strength and Conditioning coach.
He has a special interest in lower limb rehabilitation (hip, knee, and ankle), tendon pathologies, and shoulder injuries.
As Zone 34’s senior Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist David offers consultations for complex cases and second opinion.
Through our Telehealth service he provides video consultations to basketballers around Australia and Worldwide. This service has proven to be extremely valuable to Australian athletes based in US NCAA College programs.

Colin Griffin
Lower-limb Rehabilitation Specialist @ UPMC Sports Surgery Clinic

Colin Griffin is a strength and conditioning coach working as a rehabilitation specialist at the Sports Surgery Clinic in Dublin. He holds a Masters of Coaching and Exercises Science and a PhD on the topic of Achilles tendon injury rehabilitation and lower limb biomechanics. He has over 15 years experience in high performance sport having represented Ireland at the 2008 and 2012 Olympic Games in the 50km walk and coached other Irish athletes to Olympic level. His main areas of interest include the rehabilitation of tendinopathies and muscle overload injuries, biomechanics, physiology and athletic development.

Kevin Lieberthal
Physiotherapist & Director of Physio@Central Park

Kevin is a Melbourne based physiotherapist, avid runner and athletics coach with over 20 years’ physiotherapy experience. Kevin completed a Research Masters in Exercise Science examining functional performance in achilles tendinopathy.

Kevin has previously been a lecturer and presenter for Sports Medicine Australia and the Australian Physiotherapy Association on the topic of running biomechanics and lower limb injury.

Shane Kelly
Clinical Director of the Royal Ballet, London UK

Shane is currently the Clinical Director of the Royal Ballet at Royal Opera House in London. His extensive experience working at the top level has also included 10 years with British Athletics.
