Dr Steve Saunders

Steve is a well renowned Physiotherapist with over 25 years experience in the treatment and management of musculoskeletal injury and dysfunction. He is recognised nationally and internationally as a leader of performance management and has been a keynote and invited speaker at numerous international conferences. Steve was recently the High Performance Manager/ Director of Sports Science and Medical Services at the North Melbourne Football Club in the AFL. Prior to this he has been a valuable and trusted consultant on groin pain to many professional teams in Australia over the years. Steve completed his PhD candidature in 2007 at the University of Queensland investigating the motor control mechanisms underlying control of the lumbo-pelvic region during human locomotion in normal and low back pain subjects.

Andrew Wallis
Sports and Manipulative physiotherapist
Andrew is a Sports and Manipulative physiotherapist who is currently employed as the head physiotherapist at St. Kilda Football Club. He has worked as part of the team at Lifecare Malvern Sports Medicine Centre since 2007. Over the last 15 years, Andrew has worked in both a clinical setting and in an elite sporting environment with Melbourne Victory, Adelaide Thunderbirds, SACA Redbacks, V8 Supercars, triathlon and athletics. Andrew is the keynote presenter for The Hip & Groin Clinic, which delivers courses for the Sporting hip & groin and muscle injury management.

Anthony Hogan
Anthony has focused his physiotherapy career on groin injuries, particularly in the football codes. He participates in a Groin Injury Clinic at Wakefield Sports Clinic with Dr James Ilic (Sports Physician) and is the groin injury consultant for Port Adelaide Football Club and Adelaide United Football Club. Anthony travels throughout Australia, the UK and Europe to lecture and work as a consultant for professional football clubs and elite sports organisations. Dr Alison Grimaldi - Physiotherapist, Researcher & Educator With 30 years of clinical experience and particular expertise in the management of hip, groin and lumbo-pelvic pain and dysfunction, Dr Alison Grimaldi is Principal Physiotherapist at Physiotec and an Adjunct Senior Research Fellow at the University of Queensland. Alison also has a special interest in the assessment and optimisation of lumbo-pelvic and lower limb biomechanics for running, change of direction and all weightbearing sports, aiming to maximize an athletes performance outcomes and minimize risks of injury or re-injury.
